Opinion on First Classic Cafe

I made my first Classic café recently and would like some opinions on it, I’m a new builder so don’t have high expectations.

My friend was going to complete a project on their but never did. I dont like my studio getting messy so its under his account.

For a first build, it’s really good.

However, there are some things we can fix.

For example, deleting the baseplate that is irrelevant would make it look better .

And how about expanding the cafe to add a register, more tables, chairs, etc?

Looks pretty good for a first build! However, maybe try to mix some more color into it and give it more character with decor like plants, lights, npc’s (maybe) and possibly a balcony. Keep up the good work, you’re doing great :happy3:

Hey there,
Like everyone else said this is a real good start

Here’s some quick tips to help improve your skills.

  • Have a size reference at all times because sometimes its a bit tricky to guess how much space a player may take.

  • Start messing around with how different colors on various textures look like. Sometimes very small changes in colors goes a long way.

  • Experiment with properties of a part. Ex. By changing up the reflectance and transparency of a part, you can make pretty nice looking glass without using the glass material.

  • If you see a part clipping check to see if you have accidently copied two, and shorten them when they overlap to stop that glitchy effect.

The build looks great and I’m sure with the help of some of the other commenters you’ll be making even better builds!
