Opinions on camera scene

Hey there!

So as a main menu i have decided for the camera to be moving across scenes and maps which will be featured in my game, and i am finding it difficult to decide if this is good enough or if i should add/change something.

I have a feeling that something is off.

Any replies and opinions on the overall structure (everything except the papers on the wall) would be greatly appreciated! :+1:

Hello! I like the textures because they fit the theme a lot. The darkness behind, you could add some props that match the theme to make it fill the scene if you like. Besides that, I really liked it! :+1:

It looks fine to me but maybe some more from props and a bit less light.

I think it loooks pretty cool. I don’t see anything you really need to fix, however I have a few suggestions.

Dimming the light a very little bit might help fit the theme a bit. Adding glowing eyes or moving objects outside the broken wall might look cool too.

Keep up the good work!

Thanks for the reply. I’ll try to add all the features have have listed above. Here’s the scene with the ambience turned down (Still need to add more props and features). if you could give me an opinion on how it looks now i would really appreciate it!

Take care. :+1:

This certainly looks way more natural! Amazing job! There isn’t much I would change, but I have some ideas for props you can add:

  • A wooden chair that has fallen onto the floor
  • Random buttons or screws on the floor

Cheers!

I love the scene and small details you included in the menu area. Is this a type of abandoned game your going for? Is so i suggest that you add some lights inside hanging from the ceiling, flickering on and off maybe that would add a nice addition to the place, since the building looks like it’s been there for a while. Maybe add better material for the objects that are inside consider throwing a rust material to it. I would also add some objects to the floor, making them look broken or shattered parts laying on the ground.

Overall it’s looks good.

Sorry for the late reply.

This is supposed to be a shed where a killer, who escaped his torturer who kept him in an underground facility since he was a kid, is taking refuge in and planning how to murder his next victim in his brother’s family. (Because of how the brother took money from the torturer instead of saving his own brother).

Very deep story, the way i said it made it sound like i really went over the top but in the game hopefully it’ll seem like it actually happened.

I might need to delete this reply one day.

Hope this helps! :+1:

Hey,

I personally think it looks superb but if you want to test around a bit more you could try adding a bit of Blur but only like 1-4 max and maybe some bloom. Like I said it’s just to test around and to see how it looks like. I think it looks great though like I said before.

I hope this will help you a bit but you surely don’t need it

Thanks! Really helps. I’ll make sure to try out some different stuff with the lighting.

Hey! The first thing I noticed about this scene was the broken wall in the background. Instead of just making it a hole in the wall like you did, maybe make it look as if the planks were ripped off the wall. If you want to add even another touch of detail you can make the planks splinter inwards or outwards as if someone took a sledgehammer to the wall.
