Opinions on my bank?

For a little while I’ve been working on a deserted/robbed bank for an upcoming game I’m working on. It still needs some extra details and a more lighting but tell me what you think of it currently / what could be improved.
NOTE: I DID NOT MAKE THE CHANDELIERS OR THE MONEY BAGS)

It looks nice so far, great job! You have done really well portraying the abandoned feel to it. However there is some little improvements that you could make:

  • I don’t really like the font for the word “bank” on the front of the bank. It just seems a little bit too fancy, try and make it look more bold.

  • In the vault you could have some empty money bags as well as them gold bars to bring out the robbery feel. Maybe you could have some money scattered over the floor as well to make it look like the robbery was done in a hurry.

  • In the office area you could have some of the filing cabinet doors open slightly because at the moment they look a little out of place. They look like they have just been placed there for show, having the doors open will bring out the abandoned feel to that room.

Thank you for the advice. I’ll do some experimenting some of your suggestions.:slightly_smiling_face:

I agree with this, the bank text isn’t working.

As far as everything else goes, it looks pretty neat. I’d highly suggest you added some lighting, whether that be direct lighting coming from the actual lighting fixtures in the roof, or just artificial light, eg surface lights, point lights. Continue to add further detail to the exterior as well, and the bank will really come along to look quite nice.

Not sure if it’s just me, but I can hardly see it due to how dark it is. Can you improve the brightness?

Yeah I noticed it seemed darker in the screenshots. Although I do need to improve the lighting. I’ll reply with some brighter images tomorrow when I get on my PC so you can give your opinion on the build.

Where the gold bars are, you should add piles/stacks of money on the floor.

The bank’s exterior doesn’t fit in with the “deserted” type of style. The interior isn’t that bad but could use some light. Looks very dark

Looks wonderful.

  • I would add some visible lighting, like a box or some sort of container that contains the light, then direct the model/part towards the pillars of the bank and/or down to the walkway from the ceiling of the bank. (Outside)

  • Decreasing the amount of scattered paper would promote a more-reasonable appearance in a bank, formalizing organization, but if it is to have a perspective of none of the sort, I would add/create cracks with trash all over the area. (Interior)

  • How was the bank robbed? Was there any evidence? Are there cameras with footage of the robbery? Where did the robbery originate? Who owns the bank? What promotes my trust in financial needs with the bank, while inside (ads)?

It seems great! If you could add some lighting that would be great! It seems a little bit murky in some areas! Nice detail by the way!

Thank you. I am currently finding some good lighting setting while still keeping the abandoned theme.

If it is abandoned, why is there money inside of it? Why hasn’t it been knocked down? I’d stick with making it robbing a (functional) bank at nighttime. At least that way it can be challenging, especially with security guards and the like.

Maybe if you added cobwebs to the bank and dim lighting?

I agree.
In the vault you could add some dollar bills on the floor, it would give a nice effect, like if the robbers were in a hurry and some bills fell.

Yes, a mix between gold bars and dollar bills would be nice. Thank you for the suggestion.

That’s an idea, I’ll think about it. Thank you.

The “Bank” font doesn’t fit in and I think the whole place is too dark personally.

Good work though.
