I’m not sure if this is the appropriate thread to be posting this, but I’m gonna do it anyway. Correct me if I’m wrong and I’ll move it.
I recently created this elevator, and I felt like it looked pretty good; but before I script it to operate as an actual elevator, I would like some opinions on it! Let me know if there’s anything I should add or take away.
The only free model I used was the plant. Everything else is made from scratch.

While I’m not strictly a builder, I think having a large plant under the area where you select which floor you wish to go to would, in real life, be an annoyance, as it would make it harder to reach said area. (Thus it isn’t very realistic)
Also, I can’t really 100% see this due to the camera angle, but it somewhat seems that one of the plant pots may be inside the wall a bit? Correct me if I’m mistaken. You could also use spheres for the edge of the side bars to give it more of a smooth feel, whilst making the bars themselves cylinder-shaped - personally, I like curves over edges.

I thought about doing that, but I felt that technique is too overused in most builds, and I didn’t want to be really generic. I did think there was a problem with the sidebars though.
Thanks for your feedback!

Make sure you add elevator music!
Wonderful job to you with this build already! There are just a couple of things I would suggest doing next. I would add more layers to the flooring as it is only one part with a “fabric” material. In this specific instance, I would use marble tiling floor, just like the ceiling, but in a different orientation, as to many identical objects become uninteresting. Due to this, for the flooring, I would place the tiles diagonally. The next thing I would add detail to, is the metal handles on the sides. All I would due to them, is negate a smaller duplicate of themselves positioned on the inside (horizontally sticking out) and negate both parts together to show more depth within the build. Good luck!
