Opinions on my first GFX

Hello fellow devforum users! This is my first piece of blender GFX, and I wanted some opinions.

Let me know what I can improve and add to the thumbnail. Rate from 1/10.

FUN FACT: I was in the process of improving this GFX based on the feedback I was receiving when I closed blender and stupidly forgot to RENDER THE IMAGE!! Even worse I DIDNT SAVE THE IMPROVMENTS!!

Cool take, but if we are talking straight point to point, I doubht that those trees really grab the attention, it’s just kind of dark, it does look amazing though. I suggest doing something about those trees mostly, my opinion.

This GFX looks VERY GOOD AND DETAILED! Great job on it! The style of it is excellent! How long did it take to create this GFX in total? I rate it 9/10!

very VERY plain and very very dark. make it like 5 times brighter and add flowers and other decor. 2/10

Looks cool, I’d Recommend Adding Variety t the Trees, Bushes, Grass, by changing its rotation, size color, I’d make the tree and grass have the same detail, grass looks a little low poly, other that that its pretty nice, I would rate it 7/10

the style doesn’t add up: you have simple roblox characters with a dark and robust forest behind them. make the trees and background in general brighter so it contrasts less with the characters. maybe make the background simpler by making the style of it more low-poly.

also, the noob swinging the sword towards the zombie (?) looks a bit silly. search for how swords are usually used when jumping from a height.

here are some stock images to take inspiration from:

It’s took around an hour. Not too long.

Alright I’ll try to make the trees pop a bit more.

More flowers and decor, got it! I’ll change it up a bit try to ad some variation. I am also thinking of adding a sort of light dust effect and maybe a couple flies to make it more outside-ish.

Alright so the variety is a little bland like you said, the more I look at it the more I notice.

Yeah umm, I wanted to add more realism to the characters rather than ad less realism to the background, but I honestly don’t know how. I could add some 3d clothing to them. If you don’t mind, let me know what you think.

Edit: I can’t click the link… but do you mean something like this:

im gonna give u the run down. THIS IS BUNS. (respectfully)

on a serious note the lighting could be WAY better. background is nice (could also use better lighting) the background does not match the noobs. character positions are nice tho. 4/10. u should use hdris!

Thanks for the constructive criticism! Do you mind telling what exactly is off about the lighting? That way I know exactly what to fix.

no problem most of it was a joke lol. but it really depends on what your going for but it seems that your gfx is in day time however i feel that for a forest in the day time your noob and forest is too dark

also if ur gfx is aimed at children your should automatically make it brighter as kids are attracted to bright things.

overall it’s a good gfx but to make it better use hdris they can really help when trying to set the mood/lighting for your gfx. also make the background brighter

Thanks! For the help! I am only writing this bc the devforum requires 30+ characters in order for me to respond.

Like the style your going for here, however, there’s a very big blank spot on the right. Maybe add more zombies there?

Got it! Thanks for the feedback and help.

Alright thanks for the help. Now it will look a bit more accurate
