I think you should remove the cuts on that one side of the blade.
You can correct this part between handle and blade because it looks wierd
This stuff is just really preference and the sword as is looks great. 
Most swords have a “triangle like” shape towards the tip of the blade. This sword is thicker near the top. It looks great, but just seeing how it looks another way could be good.
The handle looks bland compared to the rest of the blade. Maybe beveling the sides of the handle would look nice. Or maybe some etched writing on the handle.
