I made this game about 2 years ago, and I’ve been updating it occasionally since then. It’s the only showcase that isn’t considered a WIP, because it’s practically done, but I’d still like some input on what to possibly add or remove. Feel free to play the actual game to give a more in-depth review.
Honestly, this looks like a great game.
I like the sound effects and the sunrays that you added through the window which was good to add a more realistic feel to it.
Now what I could consider you adding to it is a little more detail to hallways and the bedroom
Other than that, it is truly a wonderful game to play
Thanks! I was actually thinking about making it into an actual game soon.
The showcase looks really good, I like all the details you added to it.
My Suggestions
1.Like ObliteratedRox said you could add. Some more details in the room part maybe, add some furniture and some little details on the counter top.
2.And for the hallways you could add some newspapers on the ground and some! broken pieces in the hallway on the side and on the ground part.
Over all you really done a great job, hope to see more soon!
Advices from what I see on the screenshots
On the first screenshot, the fence (I guess that’s how it’s called ) has a pretty boring design with a 1 stud length.
On the third screenshot, the bed actually have 2 parts: The sheet and the mattress. A bed (normally) has a frame with the mattress over with the sheet over it (so 3 parts at least). Also, try materials and find the best looking one for the showcase.
Yeah, now that I think about it, I didn’t do so well with the balcony
Yeah, but I didn’t really want to make it a normal bed. The apartment complex already has a really run-down and ghetto scenery, so who’d be surprised if a maintenance crew just threw the mattress onto the floor and called it a bed.
I’ll think about it, though
Yeah, I can kinda see what you mean. I’ll start working on that.
The game looks great! I love the detail & sunrays you’ve added!
- My only suggestions is that the light is quite a solid colour I think you should stick to creating one specific coloured light, but at the same time it still looks great there!
Honestly, I think the build and the game is quality! My suggestion was very basic, and I still think the lighting is great!
Looks awesome.
I love the use of dynamic lighting and rays. My only feedback I can really give is to use less brick material, and use others, as it looks mostly of brick. I know you are trying to pass on a look of a rustic prison, but in my opinion you could use more of the concrete material.
Don’t take this as criticism, as I do really like your build.
