I just started using the Highlight feature as an added hit effect for my melee system, and according to the MicroProfiler and my FPS, the feature seems like it is slightly expensive on the rendering when triggered.
I was wondering if there is any way to make the usage of Highlights more performant friendly and less taxing on the rendering, to be concise here: I am triggering the highlight from the Client already, and I have no clue if there is any other way to optimise this feature as I may not use it if not. The feature being new means I don’t know much about it.
If there is a way however, I’ll continue using it for other things too, but if it’s going to be slightly expensive on rendering then there is no point of using this feature.
