I was using my computer today, and I ran into some issues with performance. Took a look at my task manager, closed out a few things in there, and it turned out to be 2 studio tabs were hogging up 4GB of RAM.
I use Brave, and I have shields off on the DevForum, so cookies and all of that stuff do get through to me. This seems to happen when things like GIFs or videos are being played, but I never expected it to eat up so much RAM, as that never happens with other sites from my experience, usually it just takes up 1GB at most, not 2 or 4.
To clarify to those who don’t immediately understand: [not in a rude way to anyone]: the Roblox DevForum runs on Discource, a forum platform by another company.
The performance improvements are likely to be on Discourse side of things, not Roblox here.
That said, Roblox does use an older version of the service/site -or at least optional features- that may not have improvements for performance that it may otherwise have.
