Optimizing large amounts of parts

making a pretty big something i guess, no scripts but lots of parts so far, and i was thinking about detailing everything even more. so far, i’ve completed about 5-10% of what i want and is at ~40,000 parts and i fear if i detail everything it will make the game unplayable and uneditable. is there a way to optimize everything and reduce lag without the use of 3rd party apps? (blender, etc.)

if its just parts and not Unions then You should be fine I think.

You could add teleports for interiros of places or rooms so that the player gets teleported away from the main build and only has to render the parts around it.
