I don’t like having notifications sit around because then I won’t know when something important needs my attention. This means that I process friend requests as soon as I get them. It gets annoying to have random day/month-old accounts sending me friend requests even though I don’t even know them. They follow me as well, and that’s what they should be doing, but they shouldn’t send me friend requests. I’d like to prevent myself from being spammed with friend requests from people I don’t know.
To accomplish this, I’d like an account option in settings to only allow incoming friend requests in-game. Everyone I’d want to be friends with I meet in-game, and even if I meet someone on the forums, we can go to my/their place to send friend requests there.
