Optional Two-Step Trade Acceptance/Limited Sales/Delete Assets

Similar to Steam, you should allow us to make it where we have to click a link in our email before any trade can be accepted, a limited item can be put on sale, or any asset made by ROBLOX can be deleted.

This helps as 90% of the time, when an account is compromised, the attacker doesn’t have access to the email account.

This would become more a pain than it would be useful. If you have a strong password, you shouldn’t worry about this happening.

We need two-step login authentication overall - I’d love to have a text sent to my phone if I’m trying to log into my account.

That’d just be annoying if I had to verify myself through my email every time I wanted to log in. What Usering said – don’t let your account be compromised in the first place.

…Just disable it if it annoys you?

Excuse us for wanting to take action to do what you said.

don’t let your account be compromised in the first place
Is this not a way to do just that?

If someone has your password then your account is already compromised.

Holy cow what’s with the negative attitude toward suggestions recently
Some of us are so antagonistic for no raisin.

He’s suggesting an optional feature for account security that Steam/ Runescape / big gaming things have

What if someone like a friend or relative starts messing with your stuff while you’re BRB in the washroom? So many scenarios, dudes.

I didn’t notice “Optional” in the thread title. I don’t know if you noticed or not, but I had already thanked one of the posts you also thanked for pointing that out to me.

I’m an idiot. Carry on.

Thank you for being able to admit your mistakes. Seems to be a lacking quality these days.

Optional Two step verification for logging in is all I really want :stuck_out_tongue:

Here is how Steam does it:

If ROBLOX implements this then their customer support will not have to do as much “i got scammed pls halp” work.

Please note that in terms of Steam, you do a lot more trades (especially if you bet on CSGoLounge)

I think this is over all good thing to have, and would help.

Yes * 1000

At everyone saying no: Read the title again.

That would be a nice addition to help prevent scams.

I was with you right up until you made up some bogus statistic.

It’s actually based on people I know, as well as myself from BCGames.

Out of 6 friends that fell victim to link scams, none of them lost access to their email. As for BCGames, my ex already had my email password. So yeah. That all got sorted out though.

But yes, you’re right, I did phrase it as a general statistic rather than an opinionated statistic.

Your ex had your password to ROBLOX? And she messed with your account after everything happened? What

No, she had my email password. So she had access to ALL my accounts.

I suggest a seperate password, for the two way verification, so anyone that has acess to E-mail can’t randomly dissable the feature if they got acess to both account and E-mail xD
