i get the point is for putting in starter player but it really doesnt save any time when you can just edit the main model yourself for starter player
So… do you want me to take it down?
Hello! Would it be possible to provide the blend file? I’d like to edit the weight painting! However, it’s fine if not i understand that you don’t want possible copies / ripoffs
ill be glad to share the blend file once ive released a second version of the rig with all the small annoying issues fixed, right now though ill be keeping it private (also ill need to add ik and whatnot to the blender rig so its easier to animate)
Appreciate it! I’ll use this once the animator is compatible (right now it’s extremely hard to animate skinned rigs)
Looks truly amazing!
Though when using it I had a few minor issues I hope you could address.
While using the skinned mesh version, the player’s head seems to be positioned a bit too low compared to the normal version. I also saw this replicated in other screenshots posted here.
Secondly the shoes seem to be stretched a tad bit too much as it makes some shoes look like knee high socks.
Though honestly you did an amazing job with this!
This is amazing.
I’m gonna use this for my upcoming projects.
Thank you for giving this to the Community Resources!
This is awesome and it would be cool to use in a game except that some avatar accessories like waste and back don’t work properly
thanks for the info, ive been supper bugged about the hand and shoes stretching issues for ages but havent had the time to fix it just yet
To be honest, Official Roblox should add this, it’s a mix of r6 and r15 which is perfect.
Do you know how these compare to R6/R15 performance-wise?
For example, 30 players in a game with R6 versus 30 players in a game with your skinned mesh? I’d assume performance would be rather similar since bends really wouldn’t create too many extra tris, but I am curious if you might know the answer to this.
can you skin these packages?
This is awesome, I can’t wait to see this be a regular thing used in games.
The only feedback I have for you is that the head seems to be positioned too low, especially for those who have neck accessories. I personally use a hoodie accessory and it really looks odd with your rig, other than that everything looks great!
was planning on doing these bundles and the 2.0 bundle eventually but itll be a little while until i get to it
Similar to Dogu R15 Avatar but can you add female version?
since i don’t know if it’s possible to replace torso mesh with my custom one
oh yeah completely forgot about the classic female torso, ill add that to the list lol
The model and place file have now been updated with a new version 2 rig! This rig is all around better than the last with much cleaner UV mapping, hand and feet weighing and general fixes.
This also now includes 2 rigs, one with hand weighing and one without, this is due to some Roblox emotes rotating the hands to abnormal rotations for blocky rigs. Use the hand weighed rig if you don’t intend to have Roblox emotes enabled.
(also yes i fixed the stretched hand and feet issue)
I tried to download the rig model and it seems like it was moderated.
I want to use it but it says it was moderated!
@xander5610, fixed the model it was likely moderated because the rig parts were just grey without any clothing
