The help article describes the following steps to enable Xbox support for an ‘experience’:
- Navigate to your experience’s page
- Click the Menu button in the upper-right corner of the experience’s page that looks like 3 dots aligned horizontally
- Click Configure this Place in the menu that appears
- Click the Access tab on the left
- Under Playable Devices, ensure that Console is checked (as well as every other platform you would like your experience to be available on)
- Review the Content Agreement dialog that appears, and click Agree if your experience meets all of the specified requirements
- Scroll down and click the blue Save button at the bottom of the screen
While I remember clear as day this used to be accurate years ago, it’s no longer the case now. I was not be able complete step 5 yesterday because the platform checkboxes were no longer there. I had to take some time poking around to find the options were moved to Audience > Access Settings in the experience settings. They were not in the Access page of the place settings I was taken to in step 3. The distinction between a place and ‘experience’ is important here because you get different settings for each.
I would also like to note that when I did check the checkbox, it didn’t give me a content agreement popup. Not sure if it’s just me or if this popup was removed.
