(OUTDATED)Future Lighting on Low Graphics Being Too Bright

Due to using Future Lighting for a game I am working on, I have to make it as dark as possible without it looking too dark for people on max graphics and too bright on low graphics.

[Max Graphics]

[Lowest Graphics]

Something like this is what I am aiming for:

[Max Graphics]

[Low Graphics]

I’ve done most that I can with the lighting without it looking too dark on Max Graphic’s.

If there is a solution to where the game isn’t too bright on Low Graphic’s; even if it involves scripting, please let me know.

I’m not sure it’s possible to fix this problem, you could try lowering the brightness each time the player lowers their graphics.

Well you could possible detect if a players graphics is low and if it is, you can get the details changed to seem or look like high graphics all with coding

If i’m not mistaken, the lighting settings change depending on your graphics settings and i’m pretty sure only graphics 10 or so enables future lighting. the lowest ones have voxel, and highest have Future (for a clear reason, future lighting is quite laggy) so unfortunately the experience on lower graphics may be a little worse, but i don’t think theres much we can do about that

This is a huge problem and I can understand why it bothers you, as @LuckyLion1378 stated, Roblox graphics only enable FIB lighting to a certain extent. What you can do is mess with lighting settings with ShadowMap enabled and making sure it looks good in both Future and a different lighting setting and utilising that.
