Outlines and bounding box selection styles behave differently with blur

The two selection styles in studio, outlines and bounding box look different when there is a blur applied in lighting.
Bounding box is blurred however the outline is not unlike everything else such as the dots from the scale tool and even wireframe rendering lines.

Steps to reproduce:

  • turn on both selection styles
  • add an object that you can see both selection styles on. (example, mesh or sphere)
  • add a blur to lighting
    Voila, there is the bug.

They do render differently. It wouldn’t classify this as a bug. While SelectionBoxes render in 3D space, Highlights render in 2D space

Thanks for the report! Just to confirm, we have a ticket for this in our internal database.

This works as expected since the outline is not part of the 3D scene. I’m also not sure what’s a use case to have them blurred?
If you want a different behavior please submit a feature request.
