Regulations for the Discord Moderators
THESE REGULATIONS ARE APPLICABLE TO ALL MEMBERS DESIGNATED AS DISCORD MODERATORS BY EITHER A MEMBER OF THE OVERSEERING COUNCIL OR THE CREATOR OF OVERDRIVE.
RO 1. All members designated as Discord Moderators (hereinafter referred to as “DM”, “Discord Moderation Team”) are required to abide by all the rules of the official Overdrive Discord server.
RO 2. All members of the Discord Moderation Team are required to act respectfully and maturely at all times.
RO 3. A member of the Discord Moderation Team is required to take a full screen screenshot or a video of a violation and properly log it before issuing a punishment. In the scenario that a member of the Discord Moderation Team is not able to do so, they may pursue a report with the Judicial Team (hereinafter referred to as “JT”).
RO 4. If a member of the Discord Moderation team is given a script to use in a certain situation (such as punishing) they are required to use it.
RO 5. All members of the Discord Moderation Team are expected to be active in the Discord on a daily basis.
RO 6. All members of the Discord Moderation Team are expected to help the JT or the Internal Security Team (hereinafter referred to as “IST”) with their investigation if they are asked for help.
RO 7. A member of the DM may not beg or otherwise request being issued a different rank such as the Upholders of Justice, JT or IST.
RO 8. A member of the Discord Moderation Team is strictly prohibited from leaking any messages, pictures or videos sent in any staff communication channels.
RO 9. If a member of the Discord Moderation Team breaks any of these regulations, they either receive a disciplinary strike or a harsher punishment such as a demotion or possibly a permanent ban depending on the severity of the violation. If they receive 3 disciplinary strikes, they will be permanently removed from any and all teams they are currently in Overdrive.
The Overdrive Ownership team reserves the right to change these regulations at any time, if this happens, all members of the Discord Moderation Team will be informed via the official Overdrive Discord server.
