Overlaying Textures

Hey there!

So for my monster skins i’m making, i want textures to overlap in a certain order. It feels really unprofessional to have the monster have the textures in a different order every time it spawns.

Is there any way to make the textures stay in a certain order for ever?

Any help would be appreciated! :+1:

Hmm? What do you mean? Are you using blender and are trying too texture through there? Images would be helpful in this situation.

I’m talking about textures in roblox studio.

Here’s what i mean:

I’m trying to make them stay in a certain order so, for example, i want the ‘SkinMould’ texture to be above the ‘Dust’ texture.

Just make a single texture. There is no way to overlay them and have them in a certain order. Making one texture is the best way to do this.

Currently as of now there is 0 way to overlay textures in the normal Roblox Studio, however this is possible if you have the beta version of roblox Studio but it will not show up ingame
Within the BETA Studio there’s something called Surface Appearance that let’s you overlay textures onto eachother, this is typically used for PBR Textures (Realistic)
