Game Balancing

  • There is no longer a time limit within which you must escape
  • Slightly decreased the bot’s hitbox
  • Decreased the distance at which Happy can detect players to begin chasing
  • Decreased the distance at which Happy will continue to follow an unseen player that he is locked onto, but increased the minimum amount of time Happy remains locked onto an unseen player
  • Increased the speed bot & player killers receive when cleaning up items
  • Bot & player killers now have a “locked on” boost when locating a player that lasts 5x as long as before
  • Decreased the range in which Happy can detect dropped items
  • Reduced player vision by 10%
  • The player killer now has more vision
  • Increased the length of time in which the objectives are highlighted at the start of a round
  • Dropped items will last longer before despawning

Additions

  • New DANGER level system. Reaching new danger levels spawns random events that make the game more difficult
  • New Respawn option
  • New shutdown sequence
  • New Happy chase sounds
  • New hidden store announcer dialogue
  • New jumpscare death effects
  • Unique chase startup sounds for each killer
  • New UI animation to show your equipped skill
  • New indicator to show when you receive a heart from the Health Regeneration skill

  • Crimes Against AI is now a legacy achievement and doesn’t count toward the new achievement total
  • Added a reminder to use your magnet if hit while holding one

  • Slightly improved Happy’s chase AI
  • Implemented Parallel Luau

Changes

  • There is no longer a minimum amount of players needed to start a teleporter timer
  • NPCs no longer spawn at the beginning of the match
  • Edited the lighting of the round post-closing
  • Edited the visuals of the scanner models
  • The scary Happy model has a slightly new look
  • Changed some of the objective prompts
  • Changed the hit sound
  • More transparent “Waiting for players” label to show how many players a server is waiting for until the game begins
  • Objective announcement lasts longer
  • Dying or escaping now immediately puts you into spectating mode
  • It’s more obvious when you lose an item
  • Edited the brightness of the win tracker radar label so that it’s more visible during rounds
  • UI tweaks
  • Sound design tweaks

Game Bugfixes

  • When the player killer leaves, your radar should correctly detect the new replacement killer instead
  • Fixed bot Happy’s animations
  • Fixed the spawn timers. Item spawns should no longer take two cycles to spawn a new item after the previous item was picked up

Lobby Additions & Changes

  • Teleporters have been combined into one
  • Improved joining queue detection
  • New voting system
  • New 2x vote power game pass
