Paraíso Park | Theme/Water Park

Hey everyone,

I’ve just opened my theme park game Paraíso Park, a project I started about 11 months ago! It’s a park built on islands out in the ocean with a view of the sunset. The basic premise is you go on rides to earn Sand Dollars then use Sand Dollars to buy things like boats and food.

I would love to hear any feedback you might have for the game in general! I do have a few specific areas I am interested in feedback on as well.

  • Optimization: It’s a fairly detailed map so some people have said it lags for them. If you could share your experience with the game and how powerful of a device you are running it on that would be helpful to know. Also, if you have any suggestions for how to optimize the game I would appreciate that!

  • Game Progression: How balanced do you think the Sand Dollar Currency is? Sand Dollars are earned by going on rides or by purchasing them with Robux. Do you think the prices should be adjusted?

  • Bugs: Did you encounter any bugs on the rides or with the saving system? Any bugs dealing with saving, currency, or inventory are especially crucial. The Orbit ride sometimes gets stuck (you can usually hop on and off to fix it) so I will look into that. Leaderboards take a bit of time to update which is normal.

Thank you for checking out my post! I hope you all have a great day.

Just played Paraiso with @Eriquito360 and @PrincessLucyPob, it works awesome and everything works smoothly, but with some things to add.

  1. You said the boba place was inspired by your sisters, so give it a catchy name
  2. Transportation around the map
  3. Teleport menu to teleport to friends and other players
  4. List the rides that earn you the most Sand Dollars
  5. Color correction to make it pop more
  6. The countdown and start needs to on the players screen instead of surface UI
  7. The UI also needs a nice tropical feel, the music too no more monstercat
  8. A tour guy or staff to give a tour

Cya,

Thank you so much for the feedback! I enjoyed playing with you. I like your idea for teleportation since the park is a bit big. As far as color correction, are there any specific areas that could use some work?

Color correction for all around the map to make it more vibrant

As for the title it should be something like Paraiso Park | Your Amazing World! or you can take some words from your game description. Paraiso Park | There’s lots to do at Paraíso Park!

Hi there, I can tell you put a lot of work into this and I want to say a job well done. Here are some initial thoughts I had.

  1. I’d really like a map when you spawn in that shows the layout, the location of the player, and gives an idea of the rides and which way you could go to get to that ride. I’d expect a few of these large maps scattered throughout the park.
  2. The park is huge. I’d say adding some more NPC’s around the area would really liven it up. A life guard at the top of the water slide area like you see at water parks, some people laying out on the chairs by the pool, other people standing on the boardwalk. All of this to create a sense of immersion for people who don’t join with a group of friends.
  3. On a PC the run/walk being something I had to click felt strange.
  4. Good job on the lazy river being an AFK farm and having a leaderboard there. This will get your playtime numbers up for sure, I saw someone just AFKing on the river when I joined.
  5. The NPC’s I met wouldn’t talk to me. Reina and Ashley specifically. Might be something with the dialog prompt distance trigger?
  6. A better indication of what I can buy for the sand dollars. Again, the NPC’s wouldn’t talk to me but since you have an AFK river to farm them I assume buying things is a big part of the game.

Hope this feedback helps, good luck!

Hi HappyLighshow,
This is great feedback! I like the idea of livening the place up with some NPCs. I’ll look into the dialog prompt issue; thanks for the insight there. I agree that the value of Sand Dollars could be clearer. I’ll consider adding some signs and/or some sort of tutorial to show what can be purchased. Thank you for taking the time check it out and write this feedback!
