After playing games made on unreal engine, i noticed a-lot of the buildings use parallax mapping which is an illusion to make the players thinks there is interior to builds and adding crazy depth to buildings.
I attempted to recreate this in Studio using surfaceUI’s, and playing with lightning property in the UI:
Let me know your thoughts, i personally think this is better then just filling our windows with neon to optimise.
Looks amazing. I tried making that effect some months ago using PBR but it just didn’t work for roblox. Your method is way better, I wish pbr was more detailed and had more features for making this type of stuff with just an image
