As a developer, it’s hard to tell what game icon we should use when sponsoring. Some types of icons may pull a bigger CTR (1) then others.
It would be great if we could upload multiple icons, one of which shows at random for each player when they see the sponsor. Total CTR would still show, but it would also divide into each of the icons. This way, you can see which of the icons performed the best! At this point, you can choose the one with the highest, or make new icons to try out.
This will make sponsoring much more effective. Developers will be able to see which game icons performed the best, so they can use less money on advertising in the future.
I heard about YouTube making a feature like this. They supposedly allowed MrBeast to be a tester of the feature so he can discover what types of thumbnails are clicked more often. I have no idea where I heard this, unfortunately.
Total CTR: 1.22%
Thumbnail 1
A player stumbles and falls into lava. A different player crosses the finish line victorious.
CTR: 0.28%
Thumbnail 2
MrBeast cheers 100 players on. Only 1 player crosses the finish line and emerges victorious!
CTR: 1.02%
Players usually clicked this game icon.

“Sleepy Race Simulator” with a toilet in the background.
CTR: 0.1%
This icon needs work!
1: As I understand it, CTR stands for click through rate, which stands for a low percentage of players who saw it AND clicked it, compared to players who only saw it and didn’t click.
