As a Roblox developer, it is currently a hassle to convert SpecialMeshes to Meshparts.
If Parenting a SpecialMesh to a MeshPart automatically copied MeshID and TextureID over, this would speed up the process of reusing catalog items.
Any solution to this problem is fine, but it would be really helpful to not have to locate the right mesh, look for the right line, click on it, ctrl+c, find the right meshpart, find the right line, click on it, ctrl+v, twice for every mesh I’m using.
(I also don’t think there is a plugin solution because I believe MeshID cant be set by anything but studio itself? But I could be wrong about that. Either way, it should be standard solution not a plugin.)
