New item: Health potions
You get a health potion for every 5th kill during a killstreak. You can hold up to and keep 2 health potions at once. They each heal 35 health, and require you to sit still to drink (while making a bunch of noise/ special effects that might gain attention)
This is to allow more aggressive playstyles on higher killstreaks, and to remedy being randomly hit with a heavy sword out of the blue, and not having to hide/ wait for a full minute before it’s safe again.
Weapon rebalancing
Previous damage for each weapon:
- Katana: 44
- Kunai: 38
- Heavy Sword: 77
New damage values:
- Katana: 39
- Kunai: 44
- Heavy Sword: 68
Heavy sword nerfs
A whole lobby spamming the heavy sword got a bit annoying. I removed the notification for having it, so new players won’t automatically default to it.
They are also significantly harder to use. They don’t give you as much of a boost after using it anymore, and they have a longer delay between swings. Additionally, the charge-up for the heavy takes a little while longer as well. This makes jumping + spamming it less successful, and you have to really time your hits with this latest iteration.
