Part fracturing system V3

Just following up one year later: are there any plans to make a 3D version of this module?

Possibly. Expanding from 2D to 3D, isnā€™t too hard as far as Iā€™m aware.

I havenā€™t touched this thing ever since V3 came out since Iā€™ve been working on a massive project for about a year or so. so there will definitely be some more features and/or support for 3D if there would be a V4.

Do you plan to fix this in an upcoming update?

Yes. Along with a few other problems. There will be a desired surface axis option for 2D fracturing that the user can set

Do you know what i can find pretty much useful for this? what if we sent a ray to from the projectile to where its going to landā€¦ add a fracture point then break itā€¦

Well that was the initial use for yes, so yeah. This is would work very well for guns.

that could extend to throwing objects and just objects slaming into things. Man I canā€™t wait to use this in my newer titles.

Wow I wanted breakable glass for my game and didnt knew how to do all the math, I tried to do it and couldnt, but this resource seems perfect. Imma use it for my game!
