Part resizing issue

i dont really know if this new “Improvements to Part Shape & Size” update the cause but im experiencing abnormal behaviour w resizing parts now which has surfacegui’s inside - it resizes the part as if it’s a model instead now which is pretty goofy; how can i revert this superfluous change so it works like before

(just to reiterate, it’s a part with surfacegui inside)

Please show a screenshot of how your Part is set up in your Explorer window with all parents & all children.

Why does your floor have a SurfaceGUI in it anyway? I’d think a Texture would be a better option for a floor.

beforehand it would work fine in regards to sizing like any other part, but now it resizes like a model - and only works properly if i delete the script/surfaceui which sucks

What happens when you put the Part inside a model by itself with the script and surfacegui in the model, not the Part?
You should be able to just select the Part.

Maybe it’s because a Part with that many items in it acts like a model?

then it behaves like an ordinary model and resizes that way

yes but it resizes the part like a model

seems like it now due to this new silly update

Can you try using F3X and see if it still does the same?
