Part texture always showing checkered [Uploading: Screen Shot 2024-07-30 at 11.06.27 PM.png...]()patches

Every part I create looks like this with the checkered black and white patches, regardless of what material I make it. This only appears in RobloxStudio not on Roblox.

What’s wrong?

If a texture is missing or not loading properly, Roblox Studio will display the checkered pattern instead. This is a kind of placeholder. Make sure all textures are imported properly and available in the correct path. Check that the textures are displayed correctly in Texture Explorer. I Hope this works, If it doesn’t work, I can’t explain it.

how would I check if the texture is missing?

I have a idear, it could be that the object uses a standard material such as “Brick” or “Wood”, check that the material is assigned correctly (parts with standard material cant handle Images)

Go to the “view” tab, and make sure that “show grid” or something along those lines is turned off.

There are 2 settings next to each other, one of them being something about “show grid”. Make sure both are disabled.

Thank you so much! I just had to disable the “Show Grid” setting!
