Particle weird angle when trying to angle it's attachment

I have a slash effect that is a flipbook and when I try to angle the slash it angles weird and changes where it faces when I change the z axis.

In the video you can see that when I rotate the attachment, the slash starts to face 90 degrees to the left. Why is that?

It’s set to velocity parallel right? That’s probably what’s causing it
