Particles are rendered at 0,0,0 when ParticleEmitter parented by script in workspace

Yea I already posted this screenshot, thanks though.

This paragraph, to me, would imply that it wouldn’t render anywhere if not parented to the right parts. (which would make perfect sense) :slight_smile:

Thanks for reporting this, but as was mentioned above it’s an expected behavior.
I see how the documentation might be a bit misleading. We’ll see how we can update it make it more clear.

I noticed another odd thing that seems to be related to this design flaw. Players spawning in with forcefields, sometimes their forcefield effect is rendered at 0,0,0 and not at the spawn location…

Here is a screenshot of it, most player’s forcefields are in place where they should be, somewhat rarely a player’s forcefield will be missing and rendered at 0,0,0:

I just turned off forcefield spawns in my game to ‘fix’ this.
