Particles showing through solid parts

I am making a water wall in my game to add aesthetics, however, the particles from the particle emitter are showing through my BANK text mesh. The emitter is placed behind where the letters are so they shouldn’t show through but they still do in some cases. Any ideas on how to fix it?

Is the sign’s transparency lower than 1? Because it’s neon, it could possibly be set below one to lower the brightness of the neon, and I’m pretty sure the particles would go through it.

I think you mean above zero not lower than one. One would mean completely see through, but I know what you meant. That was the issue. Transparency was set to 0.2. Thanks!
