Have you noticed that a weld appears when you connect two parts? Is it kind of annoying especially when CanColide is unchecked? I think it is, but I would like to hear from you first; do you like this feature or is it annoying? sure, it can help when making a destructable bridge, but it should at least be an option. Tell me if it already is because I haven’t checked…
Shoud this be an option?
Yes, with checked as the default

I really look forward to seeing what you guys picked!
Edit: I see that quite a few of you voted! If possible, can you explain your answer in a post?
Oh… Thank you for the clarification. I should have seen that… But I’ll keep the poll because I would like to know what everyone thinks of this recent feature.
Ok this may seem like news but this is already an option. This was here long before I even joined Roblox and was widely known. Not sure how you missed it
You’re asking if it would be better to remove the option to have this either on or off?
If that’s your question then I say no. I think having this ability is useful to many devs who work with unanchored parts and don’t want to get into the scripting side of it.
Insignificant discussion topic, so sending this to Building Support. The poll is also unnecessary. If you want to request for platform changes, please use the Platform Feedback categories. If your question was why parts auto joined when moving them around, then see the first reply (Join to Surfaces).
Sometimes I forget that’s an option too and end up making unintended welds between certain assemblies, like constraints-based doors and it makes them stuck.
