Parts sliding back down a slope with AssemblyLinearVelocity

Trying to fix a raft game so I can play it with my friends, parts appear to slide back down slopes where the AssemblyLinearVelocity property is set (see video)

This also happens to massless parts.

Above image shows the velocity used in the video (it appears to work perfectly on my character?).

Try setting the friction of the slope with a higher value. The Ice material has no friction at all. (im sure you learned this in physics class)
