Parts wont move in animation editor

I’m a big newbie when it comes to animating. So this may be a ridiculous question.

So basically I’m trying to animate my custom character, all parts are moving correctly except for this hand holding the staff.

When I try to move it in editor It won’t move no matter what I do.

I’m not sure how I can show an example of what I mean but hopefully, you get what I’m talking about.

Again, sorry if this is a ridiculous question. I’m super new when it comes to animating/rigging this is probably my 5th time ever animating.

Make sure that no part in it is anchored.

That’s what I thought it was at first, but I checked and none are

If you’re absolutely sure no part in the staff or arm is anchored, try checking if any parts are keeping them in place such as Welds (where they shouldn’t be).

If that also fails, are you positive the arm is properly rigged?

Ah, I must’ve misclicked and attached the staff to the torso instead of the arm. Thanks! @ShadokuSan
