Pathfinding AI stuck in the walls

,

Hello!
I have a problem that really pisses me off. Why in the world AI ‘gluing’ to the wall for no reason at all?
I’m using SimplePath module, which logically uses Roblox’s Pathfinding AI, but for some stupid reason it sticking to the wall, is it stupid or smth :sob:
I tried to change AgentHeight and AgentRadius, nothing seemed to work!! (It really does not change anything, so I’ve removed Height and Radius) About colliders, we made own hitboxes for all the location, so it is easier for AI to calculate and move, but… BUT… welp, just see this

The video:

To get some things clear:
Blue/Red Walls - Hitboxes for every humanoid
Green - Hitbox only for NPC’s like an AI

Does it only occur at that specific place?

Sorry if this is unrelated but I swear I saw one of your games in some like roblox ARG lol

Not really, it occures in many places of the house. Not sure, but I think it calculates beneath the invisible wall, that’s why I’ve made npc-only walls… Dang, I even made it as default roblox rig rn, but still the same problem!

ahaha, what? really? cuz ive once made a little arg horror-game, ‘room 102 accident’, but soonly closed after because of its poor quality
but only few of my friends know about this game, maybe it just seemed for you? or you saw me playing some arg games?

It seems like the problem occurs when you’re hugging the green wall. So it probably thinks your inside the wall. Also could be a possibility that it is calculating the path in front of the NPC.

I remember seeing a game like yours and a name like yours in this video :man_shrugging:

i understood, that’s the trouble with hitboxes itself. ill make another post about this topic
