Hello, I am enquiring whether it is allowed on the Roblox platform to grant a player a group rank in exchange for a PayPal product.
This group rank exempts you from gamepasses in the game, along with a username tag.

You definitely can’t. Roblox’s TOS says that you cannot sell anything outside Roblox. Your only way how to earn money is by earning robux since they have percentage from it, but by earning money with your paypal. They’re giving you free service of free server hosting and playerbase, so it’s forbidden to sell anything outside Roblox.

That’s pretty stupid. If you want someone to be exempt than just make a gamepass worth the same amount as the paypal purchase that gives all the same things.

To be honest it really isn’t. While im not a fan of using the word ‘stupid’ here, @AC_Starmarine does have a point. If you are trying to get revenue from the game, and want to use an external source (paypal) when it’s not allowed. It isn’t allowed. If you want to get revenue, just make it a gamepass with the same cost. You can just program it to override other gamepasses easily.
