Perlin Noise Terrain Generation | How do I make a smoother generation?

I am currently in the process of creating a Perlin Noise terrain generator. I want to achieve a very smooth transition from block to block while simultaneously having large mountains.


I am trying to achieve a 1.2 drop down for each block but I still want it to be very mountainous. How would I achieve this?
