Pets for a simulator I am making

As you may know, pets are very big in ROBLOX. I’m currently working on a game called COMBAT SIMULATOR, and i’m working on the pets system right now. The pets aren’t just for looks, they boost up your stats, and it’s not rigged so you actually have a chance to get something good.

To get to the point, pets in simulators are very, well, common. I’m aiming for something unique to create although making the pets is fun, and i’m more then half way in already.

The question is:
Do I stop making pets or should I continue what I enjoy?

(Please alert me whether or not this is the wrong topic)

Pets are okay I guess. Maybe try and not make them your generic floating pets, but pets that actually have animations and fight.

Continue what you enjoy. Motivation is important

This isn’t really a discussion, even though you might think I misunderstand because there’s a question, but that’s not really what makes a discussion. This should probably go in #help-and-feedback:game-design-support.

Pets usually just boost up your stats, and that’s kind of all there is to it. If you could have the pets help fight people, that would give it some uniqueness. As long as you give some unique aspect to it, then I think you should keep going with pets.

Thanks! I’m not sure if they already to this, but the pets can increase your health.
