Ok, so I’ve seen a lot of REALLY nice FPS’ on Roblox before, but I have to say I haven’t seen any as detailed and awing as this project Roblox developer litozinnamon is working on .
Visit this youtube channel https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC0PMFc3WJjm9tARWwifeI4g ,
go to his videos, and watch Phantom Forces update 2 and Phantom Forces update 3, then post your opinions. I really love how in depth he goes into his attempts to simulate bullet paths and trajectory ; the guy even made blood splatter effects!
I’m concerned about the aesthetic though. It looks like they’re going for a realistic gun appearance, but then there’s these thick blocky characters. Doesn’t look right imo.
I think they should either go down the unturned route and make everything look thick and blocky, or crank it all up to eleven and go with detailed character models as well.

Well the developer is on RBXDev so if he sees this perhaps he’ll notify us as to whether or not he’s going to work on custom humanoids to fit with the realistic environment.

He is on this forum, I’m curious if he is going to add in cocking the weapons when they run completely out of bullets after the player puts in the next magazine.

That’s exactly what I thought. What I learned is that if you make the barrel not a cylinder and don’t add detail then people know you’re wanting a blocky look and it saves so much time.
Hmm yep since all the gun models are also basically temporary place holders as well until we can minimap CSG guns and add things like the bolt animation on empty magazines.

Okay, I’ll just warn you that I’ll gouge my eyeballs out if I can see the individual keyframes in the animations =)
