Phantom Friend Request?

I have a notification telling me that I have a friend request, but there isn’t one there? This is really bugging me.

Gif of my issue here: linkadink

EDIT: If it says “403 Forbidden” when you click on the link, refreshing it should fix it

Clicked refresh many times.
Still didn’t work.

Seconded

You need to press [ENTER] in your adress bar. Then it works

It looks like you have some plugins installed for Chrome though – do you still have the phantom notifications without any plugins enabled?

Odd, I never had trouble with gifs on that site before, weird. Anyway, I tried disabling all of my plugins, the notification is still there. :?

They are filtering by referer. When you click a link from here to go to the image it has a referer of developer.roblox.com, but when you hit enter it doesn’t send a referer.

I think it’s referrer.

Yes, the correct spelling of the word meaning “someone/thing who refers” is referrer, but in the original http standard it was misspelled, so if you examine actual http requests, the header is misspelled as referer in order to comply with the standard. Although in HTML5 there is a new attribute to block it called noreferrer.
