The shakiness and lag is why we need proper servo motors.
[ul]
[li]12 servo motors[/li]
[li]9 parts per servo motor[/li]
[li]4 thrusters for spin and counter spin (no proper torque body object)[/li]
[li]1 union part limiter connected to the rest of the motor using a Motor object to dictate angle[/li]
[li]~100 lines of code for the whole rig[/li]

The spider got me in a headlock and flew off the map. In the next server this happened.
Guess the spider felt that since it fulfilled it’s dream of flight, it should help us fly as well.
excuse the poor video quality, i dunno all the tricks to make it look good o3o
Edit: Just got a better video where the spider didn’t freak out and get camera shy.
the leg timings are off, a spider bot should have three legs down, to hold it up, while the three top legs are switching to a position as far forward as possible, and the three bottom are pushing towards the goal, when I joined, the legs didn’t appear to be working together at all, and were out of timing
That’s actually how the timings are, lag throws them a bit off sometimes, or if some of the legs get stuck together. Notice the second video that the other guy posted.
