PIN for games in Roblox Studio

Hi Robloxians!

As a Roblox developer, I feel that theres currently no protection over our places.

I suggest an option to turn on Studio PIN for your account (different from your Account PIN).

Explanation:
Every time you start Studio on your place, you will be prompted for authorization.
Uncopylocked places would not have this option available.

Use cases:
This could be life saver when your laptop is stolen/lost or when your account/computer gets hacked. There is still ca 30 days of logged in time. Hacker cannot really change your account settings without knowing the Account PIN, but has full control over your games. They can secretly add some malicious code and do harm for the whole community (MeepCity incident) or just steal and leak your creation.

Problems:
I`m not really sure how it would be implemented for Team Create, because it could be abused.

If this issue is addressed, it would improve my development experience, because I would feel more secure about my work. I think that having secure feeling is the best motivation for developer.

I would rather not have my account pin protecting my games, because I don’t want to enter the pin more often and risk it getting keylogged by malware. Perhaps an entirely new layer of security?

I suggested a PIN that is different from the Account PIN :slight_smile:
