- I was listening to a song called “Pinball Wizard” by Elton john and I thought “Is there pinball on Roblox?” Because as we all know places that have them aren’t fully sanitary, my question is could this even be made on Roblox and will people like it? There would also be levels with different places to play pinball and eventually the final level which then you can earn prestige for exclusive pinball machine skins and things like that.
2.I need to know if this is possible to even make on Roblox, I’ve never done anything like this before since I mainly build or do game management, I also would like to know your opinion on this idea. Controls will be simple, Left bumper would be Q and the right bumper E.
3.Currently I do not know how to script or anything besides building and all that jazz, I’d like to ask this one more time to finish this off, is it possible?

- Considering the playerbase of Roblox, it’s cool to incorporate a new pinball game to Roblox, though, most of the time it can get boring and repetitive quickly unless your playerbase is aimed to most pinball aficionados. It seems like you are trying to incorporate more challenging levels to your normal pinball game. I think your game would have the most amount of potential if you can incorporate some element of User Generated Content, where the users playing the game can create their own levels and other users can play those levels. You would need to create a large variety of components so that most levels won’t get repetitive and many players can do incredible amount of things given that the tools provided are decent.
There are several considerable amount of games that are oriented around UGC with a high player retention rate, such as Bloxburg, Work At A Pizza Place, MeepCity, Lumber Tycoon 2, etc.
I would recommend doing a lot of research on how to incorporate elements that will be fun to use for all of the players.
- Yes, this is entirely possible with Roblox. Roblox has a decent enough physics solver (a hybrid LDL-PGS solver to be more specific) that allows you to play around with constraints and BodyMovers that can dynamically interact with the world. I would also consider porting the controls to be compatible with Xbox and Mobile devices.
Waaaay back in the day Shedletsky created a pinball machine that used to be decently popular on Roblox, it was pretty fun, but as I have previously mentioned, since there was only one level and a lack of motive for retention and progression, it died off fairly quickly.
You can view the game here: https://www.roblox.com/games/56124/Pinball-Wizards
- Yes, it is possible. I would recommend using Roblox’s Hybrid LDL-PGS Physics Solver (Pretty much constraints and bodymovers) to do the heavy lifting of the physics aspect for you.
