The following document is the official handbook of the Pinewood Emergency Team, written by the Specialists. Please read it carefully. Any changes to this handbook will be made clear.
Welcome to Pinewood Emergency Team, an elite group of the best respondents working together to tend to emergencies across all Pinewood facilities! Using high-tech equipment, we work hard to save countless visitors every day! We primarily patrol the Pinewood Computer Core, our main home base.
Above the flames!

📑 General Reminders 📑
-
Respondents are expected to follow the ROBLOX Community Rules and the Pinewood Builders Game Rules at all times, even when off-duty.
-
A certain degree of discipline is expected from attendees at all Pinewood events - listen to your superiors and treat everyone with respect.
-
We are not at war with Innovation, Quantum Science, or any other group for that matter. Active hostility against them is not tolerated!
-
PET Respondents can never start fires or participate in chaos, this is contrary to our mission as PET, and doing so could get you considered rogue.
-
Specialists have the right to remove a ranked member from their position based on bad behavior from both the Communications Server and in-game. Poor behavior includes toxicity, NSFW-like behavior, etc.
-
Stealing PB Assets or community-made work in any way, shape, or form is strictly forbidden, and will lead to a blacklist if stolen assets are not removed.
-
You may not sell, trade, or share accounts with PET points or ranks.
🌐 Global Rules 🌐
PET, PBST, and TMS Leadership have agreed to prevent unfair advantages to the best of their ability. During ongoing events, there exists a multitude of Global Rules that need to be followed by all subgroups during events. Below lists every one of them currently in force:
-
Attendees are not allowed to glitch in any way, it is disallowed for all sides. If a neutral glitches during events, they will be on Global KOS.
-
Attendees are not allowed to “package abuse”, which means attendees cannot make super small packages or other packages that can negatively impact other players, it is disallowed for all sides. If neutrals package abuses during events, they will be on Global KOS.
-
Raid Blacklisted users are Global KOS to all sides.
-
Attendees cannot fight and kill each other in the main spawn area, the Security room, the Syndicate hideout, or the Emergency HQ. The only exception to this rule is if you’re fighting someone and during the middle of it they decide to run to any of the mentioned areas to escape said fight, in which case you are free to kill them there.
-
To avoid team-killing and general confusion, on-duty PET may not color their hazmat red during raids or patrols.
In these rules, “all sides” refers to all main pro-core and anti-core subgroups, PET, PBST, and TMS.
By committing any of the mentioned rules while also being on duty for PET, you can expect an appropriate punishment in the group; ranging from a point deduction up to a demotion. In some cases, it may result in a Raid Blacklist, where one is on permanent Global KOS during public server PET/PBST/TMS events, and is banned from attending private server PET/PBST/TMS events.
Toxicity and unsportsmanlike behavior is extremely frowned upon and may result in a person getting blacklisted from attending events from PET, PBST, and TMS.
You should NEVER switch teams during any official events, this is extremely frowned upon and could lead to punishment if caught!
ℹ️ Going on-duty ℹ️
To be appropriately recognized as an on-duty PET respondent, you must fill out the proper requirements to be on duty.
An on-duty PET respondent must have their ranktag set to the PET group (this can be done with the in-game command !ranktag on
and !setgroup pet
), an official PET uniform that is fully visible and not obstructed by packages or any cosmetics, as well as being fully aware of the handbook rules. Seen below are the various examples of PET respondents ready to go on duty!
On-duty PET respondents who have their ranktag set to PET gain access to two private chats. One for all PET respondents and the other used for shared communications with PBST to use in game! Write /c pet
or /c pro
in the chat and then send it to gain access!
An on-duty PET respondent may NEVER carry TMS or PBST tools. TMS and PBST are also not allowed to carry PET tools whilst on duty.
Glitching for on-duty PET respondents is prohibited at all times and may lead to disciplinary action if caught.
📌 Important Info 📌
The following part of the handbook outlines important information for those who are on duty for PET that is otherwise not specified in other sections of the handbook.
📍 General
🛑 Rogue Respondents
From time to time, you may encounter a rogue on-duty PET personnel whilst patrolling. They’ll usually be going against PET’s duties and may be committing various handbook violations. Such handbook violations include, but are not limited to:
-
Teamkilling intentionally,
-
Spawnkilling and Mass Random Killing,
-
Killing innocent neutrals for no reason,
-
Igniting nuke trains and lighting fires,
-
Intentionally causing a train backlog,
-
Killing pro-core members on purpose.
You’re allowed to fight back in self defense if they attack you.
If you witness a rogue PET member, be sure to first tell them of their wrongdoings, they may not know that they’re breaking the handbook rules. Should they continue after that warning, you should request a Kill-On-Sight order from a Marshall+, as well as fill out a punishment request using the form linked in the information channel of the communications server. You’ll need sufficient evidence of the person committing violations, as well as proof that you’ve warned them. If the person holds a Trained Respondent rank or above they do not need to be warned.
🚩 Exploiters
From time to time whilst patrolling, you may encounter an exploiter. Should this happen, send a PIA call using the !call command in chat, note down the name of the exploiter, and add a description if you can. Until the PIA arrives, you are free to kill the exploiter(s).
It is also worth recording any evidence, if possible, of the exploiter hacking so you can send it to a PIA moderator if the exploiter leaves before the PIA arrives.
📢 KOS orders
A KOS order (or a Kill-On-Sight order) is an order that allows members to directly kill people that are placed “on KOS”. Lieutenants may issue KOS orders at any point if they are in-game and on duty as PET. Marshall+ may issue KOS orders at any given time.
Apart from divisional KOS orders, there are two other types of KOS orders:
-
Cross KOS: This order only applies during official events, when someone is put on KOS for PBST they will be automatically on KOS for PET and vice versa, unless the KOS order is specifically removed for PET by a Lieutenant+.
-
Global KOS: This order also only applies during official events, Global KOS means that said user will be on KOS for TMS, PBST, and PET. This KOS order is automatically placed on event blacklisted users.
Mutants and Exploiters are ALWAYS on PET KOS.
PET respondents may NEVER become mutants, as they will be attacked by their fellow respondents.
☢️ PBCC
🌡️ Temperature/Core
One of PET’s responsibilities is managing the temperature of the core should it exceed 3000 degrees or dip below -3000 when patrolling, or 2000/-2000 during a TMS raid.
When the core is at a temperature of above 3000 degrees, or below -3000 degrees (2000/-2000 during TMS raids), it is considered to be in a critical state. At this point, the core is getting extremely close to either a meltdown or freezedown, and PET is permitted to access the PBCC’s core controls (including coolant and fans).
PET members are permitted to cool/heat the core from the mentioned critical state to 2000/-2000 degrees (1000/-1000 degrees during TMS raids).
Should a visitor interfere with your mission to set the core temperature back from a critical state (examples can be turning lasers on when the core is close to a meltdown, turning coolant on when the core is close to a freezedown, etc.), you must give them a warning, and ask them to stop, if they continue you are free to kill them.
You are exempt from giving someone a warning for touching core controls if they are on KOS, or if the core is over/under 3000/-3000 degrees! (2000/-2000 for TMS raids)
- You should NEVER warn someone for using the core controls if PET is not authorized to use them.
As a PET respondent, you must keep an eye out for the coolant pipe! PET respondents are allowed to fix the coolant pipe when the core temperature is between -2000 and 4000 degrees, however, PET personnel must break the coolant pipe when the core temperature is between -4000 and -2000 degrees to prevent facility destruction!
⚠️ Disasters
Every once in a while, a disaster will happen at the Pinewood Computer Core. These disasters can impact the gameplay’s state. As an on-duty PET respondent, it is your job and responsibility to ensure that no further damage occurs to the facility and heal anyone injured as a result of said disasters. Below goes into more details on what to do.
If you hear a rumbling sound, you can use the PET Tablet to view if a disaster is about to occur.
-
Meltdown - Attempt to successfully fill all 3 rods in E-Coolant for the best chance to revert a meltdown (the E-Coolant section goes more into detail about this). If this isn’t possible, evacuate visitors via the Launch Silos or the PBRF elevators.
-
Freezedown - Evacuate visitors via the Launch Silos or the PBRF elevators.
-
Neurotoxins - Switch on all 5 fans in order for the gas to be blown out quicker, and heal anyone injured.
-
Earthquake - Halt all trains to prevent further damage.
-
Plasma Leak - Evacuate as many people as possible out of the core and mainframe areas, and heal anyone injured.
-
Blackout - Switch on the emergency generators, whilst also ensuring that there is enough generator fuel for the duration of the disaster (the Generator room section goes more into detail about this).
-
Radiation Leak - Drain the leak by opening all 4 drainage valves and operating the drainage pumps.
-
Magma - Evacuate everyone to higher grounds or the lobby.
-
Aliens - Not a dangerous event. It is discouraged to dance with the aliens whilst patrolling.
-
Coolant Backflow - Evacuate users out of the affected area, and heal anyone injured.
-
Missiles - Make sure the satellite connection is kept on, clean up the debris, and heal anyone injured.
🚧 Trains and debris
Whilst patrolling, you may encounter trains derailed throughout the facility. One of PET’s duties is to ensure the train line is as clear as possible and disruption is kept to a minimum.
If any train debris (or other debris) manages to reach the tracks, you should remove it as quickly as possible!
- If you are a PET Trained Respondent or above, you have access to the shovel, it is a powerful tool that can remove debris quickly!
If a train driver derails their train and they are still seated, give them a warning to remove the train, if they refuse to remove the train you are permitted to kill them.
If there is a nuke train whose rockets are about to blow up you are free to kill the driver of the train in order to protect others.
You are not allowed to use UFOs or Vehicles to block the train tracks. However, you may use jetpacks to derail enemy nuke trains, ignited nuke trains, or if the train is on fire. You may never derail trains driven by those who do not pose a threat.
An enemy is defined as someone who is on KOS or those who have made their anti-core intentions clear.
A PET Respondent can never drive or light nuke trains under any circumstances.
🔥 Chaos and fire
As a PET respondent, your responsibility is to put out any fires that arise throughout the facility!
If you see someone causing fires, warn them to stop doing so and extinguish any fires that they may have caused! If they continue after this warning, you may kill them to prevent more fires from occurring.
You don’t have to warn someone for causing fires if they: are on KOS, attack you while you were warning them, are on-duty as TMS, or were already warned for causing fires.
You should never spread or start fires whilst being on-duty for PET. As a PET respondent you are prohibited from using both the firestick and the flamethrower whilst on-duty.
📡 Satellite connection
As a PET Respondent, you must ensure that the satellite connection located in the computer science labs is kept on at all times in case of a missile event.
During the Missiles event, the Labs room is automatically restricted, this means that you are free to kill any non-PET and non-PBST that enter the room. This restriction is automatically voided the moment the disaster ends.
You can use the PET Tablet to quickly view whether the satellite connection is enabled or disabled.
⛽ Generator room
The generator room is a key area that allows PET respondents to restore the energy of the facility in the event of a blackout, missiles, and during a meltdown or a freezedown, however, fuel is required in order for the generators to work, so they must be kept offline when they are not needed.
If a visitor turns the generators on, and no disaster is happening which would require it to be online, switch them off, and warn them not to turn them on in non-emergency situations, should they ignore this warning and turn them on again, you are allowed to kill them.
You are free to kill them immediately without a warning if they turn generators off and a blackout is happening, or if they return to switch generators online again to drain the fuel after being warned in the past.
If the core reaches freezing temperature, (-3000 or -2000 in official freezedown raids), PET’s focus is to keep generators offline as it interferes with our mission to save the core.
You can use the PET Tablet to quickly view whether the generators are enabled or disabled as well as the fuel level.
❄️ E-Coolant
Emergency Coolant, abbreviated as E-Coolant, is a PBCC gameplay mechanic located at Sector G that allows users to have a last-minute chance at saving the core once a Meltdown begins.
To access both doors at Sector G, you need to input the code 5334118.
E-coolant plays an important role for PET, as it can prevent the chance of total facility destruction! Therefore, the E-Coolant must be kept under PET’s (and PBST if they are present) control! If successful, the E-Coolant will prevent the core from entering into a meltdown phase, During the whole E-Coolant procedure, PET is allowed to attack players that interfere with their mission of successfully activating the e-coolant rods!
This includes players who are:
-
Overfilling the E-Coolant rods with the intent of making the rod unusable,
-
Preventing other players from reaching the rods,
-
Attacking other players/respondents who are correctly filling the E-Coolant rods.
To try to successfully prevent a meltdown through E-Coolant; at least one of the rods must have their levels between 69 and 81 percent to be green. Going above or below those ranges will make the rod unusable.
You should, however, always aim for all three rods to be green, as that increases the chances of success of E-Coolant!
Success Rates for the number of green rods when the countdown reaches 0
1 rod - 25%, if successful, it will set the core temperature back to 3600 degrees!
2 rods - 45%, if successful, it will set the core temperature back to 3400 degrees!
3 rods - 90%, if successful, it will set the core temperature back to 3000 degrees!
Be warned! Each time E-Coolant works, the success rates above will decrease by 20%, so make sure you do not rely on it, and only use it AS THE LAST RESORT.
🚀 Evacuation via rockets
During a Meltdown or Freezedown, the responsibility of PET respondents is to effectively evacuate visitors from the facility, primarily via the Rocket Silos. All non-aggressive visitors of PBCC get the utmost priority to ride in the rockets over PET personnel. Respondents may only use the rockets if no visitors are present, or if neutrals are banned from the event. You may NEVER kill any visitors already in a rocket.

⏹ Ranks ⏹
In order to rank up in PET you need to meet certain requirements for the rank, the very first one being earning enough points through various PET events and then asking a Specialist for an evaluation. You can always view the amount of points you have with the in-game command !mypoints.
For each evaluation there is a chance that you might fail a phase. If this happens, at the end of your evaluation you will get a chance at a re-try and be able to choose which of your failed phases you wish to get another shot at. This DOES NOT include the quiz and only applies for TR and SR evaluations.
In case you have failed your evaluation, you’ll always be informed of the cooldown until you may retake it. For the first time, the cooldown is typically 24 hours. Once this cooldown is up you only need to re-do phases which you had failed previously.
The consensus takes a minimum of 24 hours, if you haven’t gotten any results in over a week, you may reach out to a Specialist.
Do not bribe a high rank for free points or ranks.

📆 Events 📆
There are multiple event types that a respondent can attend in order to gain points. These events are scheduled whenever the hosts are available which is usually done in advance. You can always check the schedule with the in-game command !schedule.
🟧 Patrols
Patrols are the most classic event hosted in PET. They are hosted regularly by Marshall+ and usually take place in public PBCC servers, though on special occasions another facility may be patrolled. Normal patrols can last anywhere from 20-45 minutes.
Depending on the length of the patrol, points are awarded as follows:
-
Patrols that are under 30 minutes - Up to 3 points + bonus
-
Patrols that are over 30 minutes - Up to 5 points + bonus
🟦 Joint Patrols
This is another patrol type where PET and PBST join forces and patrol together in one server! During this event both groups usually assist one another in completing their objectives.
The point scale remains the same as for normal patrols.
🟩 PBST Patrol Supports
Patrol Supports are slightly different from your usual patrol as they are a direct response to PBST patrols. During these events the primary goal of PET is to assist PBST in various ways to help them complete their duties efficiently. They can be hosted by a Lieutenant+, and the priority objective is to stick by PBST and support them mainly by healing them and providing comms. However, other objectives can be accomplished throughout the duration of the Patrol Support if PBST doesn’t require much healing.
Depending on the length of the patrol support, points are awarded as follows:
15+ minutes - 1 Point
30+ minutes - 2 Points
45+ minutes - 3 Points
60+ minutes - 4 Points
🔷 Trainings
Trainings are another important event in PET. These are hosted less often than other event types, but when they are, they take place usually in PET private servers of PBCC PBSTAC, and PBSTTF
You can earn up to 5 PET points from a normal training.
🟥 Raid Responses
Raid Responses are an event where PET responds to raids hosted by TMS. During these events PET’s objectives differ depending on the raid type, you can find more information on this below. An official raid response may be hosted by Lieutenant+.
Regular raids can award up to 5 points, with 6 being given as a bonus
MEGA Raids can award up to 8 points, with 9 being given as a bonus
♨️ Meltdown
During meltdown raids, depending on the temperature, PET’s objectives may vary. Once the cores temperature reaches 2000 it is then considered to be in critical state and PET respondents are additionally allowed to cool down the cores temperature to 1000 degrees. TMS is on automatic KOS during raids once the cores reaches this critical state unless specified otherwise by Lieutenant+. During meltdown raids, PET can fix the coolant pipe at any temperature.
Objectives Before 2000:
-
Handling chaos
-
Healing PBST
-
Fueling Generators
-
Fixing coolant pipe
-
Dealing with disasters
-
Destroying/hacking TMS sentries, healing PBST sentries
Objectives Past 2000:
-
Cooling down the core
-
Everything else becomes a secondary objective unless it’s interfering with the main objective
-
As a last resort, E-Coolant may be used once the core temperature reaches 4000 (more info may be found under the E-Coolant section)
Post-Meltdown objectives:
-
If there are visitors present - an evacuation run
-
Fuel the gens and turn them on once the core stops supplying power
🧊 Freezedown
During freezedown raids, depending on the core’s temperature, PETs objectives may vary. Once the core temperature reaches -2000 it is then considered to be in a critical state and PET respondents are additionally allowed to heat up the core to -1000 degrees. TMS is on automatic KOS once core reaches this critical state unless specified otherwise by Lieutenant+. During freezedown raids, PET can break the pipe at any temperature.
Objectives Before -2000:
-
Handling chaos
-
Healing PBST
-
Fueling Generators
-
Breaking coolant pipe
-
Dealing with disasters
-
Destroying/hacking TMS sentries, healing PBST sentries
Objectives Below -2000:
-
Heating up the core
-
Everything else becomes a secondary objective unless it’s interfering with the main objective
Post-Freezedown objectives:
-
If there are visitors present - evacuation run
-
Fuel the gens and turn them on once the core stops supplying power
💥 Chaos
During chaos raids, PET plays a crucial role in ensuring that any chaos caused throughout the facility is dealt with as quickly as possible. TMS is on automatic KOS during chaos raids.
Objectives:
-
Extinguishing Fires
-
Fighting TMS
-
Fueling Generators
-
Healing PBST
-
Dealing with disasters
-
Clearing debris
-
Destroying/hacking TMS sentries, healing PBST sentries
⚔️ Incursions
During Incursions, PETs main objective is to assist PBST in securing specific areas appointed by the raid host. TMS is not on KOS unless stated otherwise by a Lieutenant+.
Objectives:
-
Healing PBST
-
Destroying/hacking TMS sentries, healing PBST sentries
🔴 MEGA raids
MEGA Raids are rare events organised by TMS, hosted a couple of times per year, where multiple servers are raided at the same time. The usual goal of TMS is to achieve a meltdown in every server. PET’s goal during this event is to assist PBST and help defend the core, attempting to bring its temperature down once it reaches a critical state.
Special Events:
🟢 Community Patrol
The Community Patrol is a large, monthly event that aims to bring together as many PET respondents as possible to show off our abilities as a group. It is hosted during the last Saturday of each month.
The scheduling process is simple:
- A list of up to 5 possible times will be posted a week before the patrol.
1a. Specialists can take up to three time slots.
1b. Marshall+ that are chosen for a time slot cannot get one the following month.
-
Members of our communications server will vote on the time(s) that works best for them.
-
After voting is completed, the event will be scheduled and hosted at the voted-upon time.
During a Community Patrol, PET is allowed to interact with the core controls and heat/cool the core, regardless of what temperature it is!
You can earn up to 7 points from a Community Patrol, with a possible bonus of 8!
⚪ Operation MEGA: Flames Down!
The biggest and most important PET event! These events are scheduled by the Specialist Team and are announced well in advance. During this event, a large group of PET respondents come together and tackle multiple servers at PBCC to keep the facility clean of any chaos and resolve any disasters that may occur. Marshall+ are eligible to host a server during this event.
Just like in community patrols, PET respondents are allowed to use the core controls to maintain the core temperature at all times during this event, regardless of the temperature!
You can earn up to 10 points from Operation MEGA, with a possible bonus of 11!
🔥 Respondents of The Month 🔥
Respondent of The Month is a title awarded to people each month that have shown initiative, commitment, and have made an overall positive impact in the group that month. Every month, one to three respondents will be chosen for this award to recognize and congratulate them as they have clearly showcased that they are great role models for others and have an attitude willing to improve. Others should look up to those who have achieved this award, as they demonstrate that they are among the best!
Those who get this award also get a cool “Respondent of The Month” PET ranktag in-game!
🔏 Ranklocks and Blacklists 🔏
Blacklists and Ranklocks are disciplinary actions given out by the Specialists to members who have caused issues within the community whether that would be breaking the handbook, harassing other members, purposefully causing drama, and more.
Ranklocks are usually issued if a member is deemed unfit to progress past a certain rank due to their actions, usually issued in less severe cases.
Blacklists are usually issued in severe cases when a member has had severe or a multitude of moderation actions made against them, and is made out to be unfit to stay in the community due to their actions. Blacklisted members cannot go on-duty as PET in any PB game and are completely barred from the community.
Both actions can usually be appealed in the Pinewood Builders Appeal Center.
📜 Hosting Rules 📜
All PET hosts have to follow rules regarding hosting. These rules are seen below.
-
If the last event was a Patrol, one has to wait 2 hours to host another event.
-
If the last event was a Training, one has to wait 3 hours to host another event.
-
If the last event was a Community Patrol, one has to wait 5 hours to host another event.
-
If the last event was an OPERATION MEGA, one has to wait 7 hours to host another event.
-
Marshalls can schedule up to 14 days in advance.
-
Patrols cannot be less than 20 minutes and may not exceed 45 minutes (Does not apply to MEGA or Community Patrols).
-
Only 1 training may take place per UTC day, Marshalls require approval from a Specialist to host Trainings.
-
A Lieutenant may only host one event every 48 hours (start of one event to start of another one).
-
A Lieutenant may only schedule up to 5 days in advance and may only have 2 events scheduled at the same time.
-
Patrol Supports and Raid Responses do not rely on the PET schedule and may overlap other events and do not follow the same cooldowns as Patrols and Trainings.
-
PET, PBST, and TMS hosts are not allowed to host an event 1 hour before and after a PET Operation MEGA, a PBST MEGA training, or a TMS MEGA raid.
Every host is expected to follow these hosting rules. Specialists and above have the authority to end any event early or postpone it should it violate said rules. Specialists can also override the cooldowns and in special cases give permission for hosts to override some rules.
Groups you may encounter
🛡️ PBST
Pinewood Builders Security Team is the paramilitary force of Pinewood. Very often, they support PET in our mission to keep the PB facilities safe and protected. PET are expected to heal PBST members at all times if they are injured.
During raids, PET can support PBST in attempting to cool/heat the core should the temperature exceed +2000/-2000.
Take into account, PBST Trainers have access to sentries that can attack on-duty TMS members, these sentries have limited ammo and health. Should you spot a damaged PBST sentry or one in need of ammo, you are free to resupply the sentry or repair it.
Feel free to read the PBST handbook to gain more information on what they do: Pinewood Builders Security Team Handbook
🧨 TMS
The Mayhem Syndicate is the raid group of PB and as such, will be a common enemy for any PET. Certain rules need to be followed when dealing with Syndicates, as well as when responding to their coordinated raids on PBCC.
You may occasionally encounter the Syndicates at PET patrols. Unless they attack PET or set the cargo bays on fire, they will usually not be on PET KOS.
Keep in mind that TMS will attack PET once the core reaches a temperature of 3000/-3000 (2000/-2000 during raids). TMS will be automatically on KOS once the core enters this critical state and will remain on KOS until the core is out of critical state 2000/-2000 (1000/-1000 during raids) unless specified otherwise by a Lieutenant+.
This being said, you should never attempt to heal an on-duty Syndicate while on duty as PET, as they are direct enemies of the facility!
Take into account that TMS Instructors have access to sentries that will attack PET constantly, regardless if PET is on TMS KOS or not, For this reason, you are free to destroy or try to hack the TMS sentries in self-defense.
You should never attempt to heal a TMS sentry unless it has been hacked and is helping PET and PBST.
There are rare cases where a Syndicate goes rogue, and will attempt to save the core. These members pose no threat to PET.
Feel free to read the TMS handbook to gain more information on what they do: The Mayhem Syndicate Handbook
This handbook is subject to change and will be updated to accurately meet all changes made.
