I’m having a strange issue. Using script performance in studio, my game runs at 40-50 ping. However if I publish it and actually play it the ping is 100-150. What changed from studio to the actual game?
If you test in studio, you are connecting to your own network, while in game, you are connecting to Roblox’s network, that’s why you have lower ping in studio.

i think it is because the server is locally simulated in studio
and when in game, the server is far away, so it takes more connection power (idk what the meausrement is)
Is there anyway to get around this? Or do I just have to stick with my ping.
No, either you get better wifi, or you cannot do anything. This isn’t Roblox’s problem, it’s just that studio testing is local and game testing is with Roblox servers.
