Pivot acting weird

Randomly, my pivot changed where it went along with the part instead of the world. How can i fix this?

Try clicking Ctrl + L (Command + L For Mac), it seems you’re moving in local space instead of global.

I tried that, but it didn’t fix itself.

Pretty sure this occurs when you’re on World/ Global Pivot, you can revert it by clicking off it and then selecting it again but no permanent method.

If it worries you too much, I think SBS has their own rotation tool which might be how you want it.
(I’m not a builder so I haven’t used the tool enough but it comes along with very convenient features, they provide a YT link for demonstration)

That is why I incredibly despise the new highlight selection, a lot of plotholes to the question.

As mentioned by @desinied , you can change your selection editor to either Local or Global using the command Ctrl + L. (Local is based on object, Global is based on the World’s rotation)

The other method is resetting the pivot to default or either modifying the pivot yourself in the MODEL tab.

Also, just as a small suggestion like @Mia did, you can try using a plugin named F3X that simplifies your work and lets you have it easy to do things. Building Tools by F3X (Plugin) - Roblox

That’s it. Adding some small additional info to the existing answers,

you can go to File - Advanced - Customize Shortcuts and search for Use World Space to find/edit the key bind. Maybe you don’t have it set to the default and it doesn’t work because of that.

If the Context Menu is set to off, the relative space is going to change regardless of the selection. By default, the part has to be selected, and context is set to RightClick.

PS: If you are using a non-English keyboard, there is perhaps a shortcut a built-in shortcut at Ctrl+L already. You can solve this by setting the keybind to something else.
