Place thumbnails not properly displaying

These are old thumbnails, going back multiple years (likely before 2020). They do not display in the preview, despite being able to click and open them properly

Windows 11, 24H2
Firefox 141.0.3 (64-bit)

Expected behavior

I should be able to see the thumbnail preview

This is because they were likely uploaded before the new permissions system came into effect. They’re not going to make changes to fix this, you’ll just need to reupload the thumbnails

In the “home page” tab of the thumbnails, they are properly shown tho

Since this bug is a visual / non-functional bug we do not have the bandwidth to fix right now. If you are able to provide any related errors in the browser this would be a great help!

In the meanwhile, let us know if re-uploading the thumbnail does not fix the issue.

So I noticed a few things:

1. In the console there’s this message, looks like failed CORS? Failed to execute “postMessage” on “DOMWindow”: The target origin provided (“https://www.roblox.com”) does not match the recipient window’s origin (“https://create.roblox.com”).
2. When loading the “Experience Detail Page”, there is no request done to the CDN to fetch the 3rd and 4th image, only the 2 firsts
3. When clicking a thumbnail (any in “Experience Detail Page”) for the first time, there is a request done with “undefined”: https://create.roblox.com/dashboard/creations/experiences/508099649/places/1251631024/undefined

For re-uploading the thumbnails, I’ll need to search for them since they’ve been uploaded a long time ago, I’m not sure if we still have them. I’ll send another update later if we manage to find them

Hello there! All the thumbnail previews are now properly displaying, thanks for the fix!

EDIT: I’d also have a suggestion, I can’t post in there yet.. been waiting for 6 months.
It would be interesting if Alt texts were displayed in the empty spot in the middle, like this:
