Placement of character name in character picker + other improvements

I’m currently working on UI for picking custom creatures and I’m having trouble thinking of a good way to communicate the creature’s name without cluttering the interface. I’m looking for suggestions regarding UI placement and potential behavior (i.e. something might appear on mouse hover).

I also need this UI to eventually support purchasing characters, so I need somewhere to put a price/button.

Where should I put the creature’s name in the below UI (on the left)?
If you think the entire character picker interface sucks, feel free to suggest improvements also.

Here is how the UI currently works.

Things I have considered:
(Not sure if any of these are viable ideas despite their shortcomings)

I like the first one the best:

If you cant read my horrible hand writing (sorry for that), then I’ll explain.
The text ontop is the name and title, square on the corner side is picture, purchase button is on the other side, small detail is above it.

Then if you click purchase, bottom part slides out and tells you full details with a confirm button (Yes or No).

It should fit with your “super alien-tech” aesthetic.

And if the player has bought it/selected it:

Another note, you can replace the details with price number instead if that fits your fancy :man_shrugging:
