TL;DR: I don’t wanna open a new tab to play a sound each time. We already have this on profile inventories, can we take this to the library please? This will make it so much easier to find good sounds.
They also seem to be buggy when you CAN play them
Like you can only press play once, you can’t pause it or play it when it’s over, the symbol automatically switches back to pause if you try clicking it
And when playing sounds that are on the same page (testing them) the first sound you click plays and if you click anything else it replays that first sound you pressed and not the one you’re pressing right then and there.
Interesting bugs Aurarus. I guess this needs even more work than I though.

I’ve never had that problem in Chrome, but when I used Safari, it didn’t work at all. Same with Opera. Both were up-to-date and on the same machine as is Chrome…
Using Internet Explorer 11…

Again, can confirm, really bugs me.
When sounds are so important to game development we frankly can’t stand such a… difficult system. Efficiency is key!
Thanks for considering.

I have the same problem on Google Chrome.
Is this a super complicated feature, out of curiosity? Is it a huge difference between the search page and the profile page?
Yes it is fairly complicated. I personally would rather see sounds in the toolbox, so you could play there and then click-to-insert.
This sound http://www.roblox.com/CP-Violation-Loopable-item?id=159498635 also has weird noises when played on the site that aren’t in the actual sound.
IE11 won’t play older sounds like wav files. It used to display an unhappy face but it looks like that feature was removed.
The button has to be pressed twice to play the sound after another sound on the same page has been played. I still don’t understand why you guys use the crappy jquery sound player instead of using the Audio API or
Alright. I am hearing a few things here

[li]Some sounds don’t work, sometimes, all the time?[/li]
[li]No play/sample on Library[/li]
[/ol]
I have filed a bug for #2, will update when we get an estimation on it.
As for #1 can you guys post links of the audio which is not working along with your browser and version please. If you can give reproducible instructions we will fix it asap.
Thanks!
