Player flings with weld

Currently I’m trying to weld 2 characters together for a carry system. It works 90% of the time however I have this strange flinging that occurs occasionally.

The player being carried has no collision in any of its parts and its welded to the humanoid root part of the player carrying him. The grey box is just a hurtbox and has no collision and has caused no issues.

The problem is very inconsistent and I have no way of having it occur apart from jumping and turning around and it will occasionally fling me. Any advice will be greatly appreciated.

Try setting the humanoid state to physics whenever they get picked up

Thanks, this ended up solving another unrelated problem that was minor but slightly frustrating
