Okay, so this might be a little bit weird at first, but I am sure it has been asked before.
If I have a roleplay game and incorporate different elements such as “relationships” with other players, is that something that Roblox ToS would allow?
For example, you could be “Friends”, “Best Friends”, “Dating”, “Married”, etc. Players would be able to adopt children and create families, similar to how it would work in real life.
So, my question still stands. Specifically the “Dating” and “Married” status that players can achieve with each other, as Roblox has very strict rules around in-game and online relationships.
In my opinion, there are several types of games that use the same idea, take for instance, Adopt Me or Brookhaven. They have the similar concept of roleplaying, creating families, adopting and so on. These groups are old and have been on the platform for ages now, and they haven’t gotten in trouble, from what I know. But, if you look closely in the way they produce the games, they never state the types of roleplay that the game promotes, whether that be, starting a family, raising a child as in another player and so on. I believe you may get into trouble if you directly use words like “Dating” or “Married”, since it gives away the sense that the developer is creating a game that promotes Online Dating, for which one can face consequences.
